The Trigga line, also based in Tameside, served customers within Greater Manchester and was controlled by Thornton, the court heard. The prosecutor explained how Wall used at least children to sell Class A drugs during the spring of 2020 - with the help of Thornton, Daniels and Sledden. “It was a classic ‘County Lines’ operation,” Mr O’Leary said. The ‘Bones’ line carried out the majority of its trade in Blackpool, but was operated from Tameside and at times in Merseyside - controlled by Wall. Prosecutor Brendan O’Leary told the court how the two phone lines sold large amounts of mainly Class A drugs, in particular, crack cocaine and heroin. The judge said he was convinced both Daniels and Sledden had been ‘used’ by Wall and Thornton to further the drug dealing enterprise.
